Midwest Woodlots

Midwest Woodlots is located in North Central Indiana amongst many deer farms. Several years ago, my wife and I decided to go country, we visited the local extension office to educate ourselves on the possibilities of making money on a small acreage farm. Our research has lead us to the fascinating, unconventional farming of deer. We have not only increased our herd but improved our genetics each and every year. With this website we hope to share not only our deer, but maybe even a few things we have learned along the way. We truly hope you enjoy what you see.

We are 7 years CWD, TB, and Brucellosis Certified.

On the left is Cold Fusion as a yearling already scored 160 and to the right is Combustion who is not very far behind.Cold Fusion is a Rocky Roller son. Combustion is a Flip son out of Bombshell. These two are two of the most promising yearlings this year. They both will be fundemental in our breeding operation in the next few years.

On the bottom is Dale Jr. Dale Jr. scored 233" @ 3 yrs. old! Floppy is on the right. Floppy scored 213" @ 3 yrs. old. Dale has incredible spread and mass and Floppy has produced some great looking sons including Tines. Tines is approximately 200" @ 2 yrs. old! We have Floppy yearlings that score 125" to 136". These deer have been fundamental in our breeding stock. We have also introduced some great AI sires! They are Marty Graw, Flip, Scout, Blue Mountain Bill and Rocky Roller! Although we are not big in numbers, we feel confident that our blood lines are the most consistent blood lines available today. Our pedigrees will speak for themselves.
